The Dresden Airport Chaplaincy is provided jointly by the Protestant and Catholic churches. It is intended for passengers, crew, ground staff and local residents.
There is a chapel on the Arrivals level of the Dresden Airport Terminal. It is open for prayer 24 hours a day and is a place of tranquillity and peace during a busy day.
Besides Holy Mass, the Airport Chaplaincy also holds other religious services, exhibitions and volunteer meetings. Please see the chaplaincy website for details of events.
The Dresden Airport Chaplaincy has been in existence since 25 March 2001, when the Dresden Airport Terminal opened for business. The Chaplaincy is a member of the International Association of Civil Aviation Chaplains (IACAC).
